(Fear - Uncertainty - Doubt) The manual of our new DVD/CD player states (regarding the possibility to convert an audio CD to MP3): "It is forbidden to copy material that is protected by copyright law [...]". Such a statement is the mother of all FUD, and it is plain wrong, at least as far as German copyright law is concerned. Of course I am allowed to copy my CD to an MP3 player. Music industry wants us to believe that we do not have any rights (they wish!). Tags:
